Shopping in Puerto Vallarta

Are you one of those people that absolutely have to go shopping while on vacation? Will you be traveling with someone who is obsessed with shopping? Well in Puerto Vallarta, there are many shopping centers that will meet your need and desire to shop for new and unique items. 

In Puerto Vallarta there is shopping and then there are shopping malls. Stores like the infamous Altereggo provides a variety of clothing, shoes and accessories especially for women. Some of the upscale malls like the Galerias Vallarta shopping plaza is home to department stores, high rated cinemas, art exhibits, five star food courts, high quality boutiques, and entertainment for adults and the family. 

Galerias Vallarta is one of the Puerto Vallarta's top and most visited shopping centers. It is located on Francisco Medina Ascencio Avenue directly across from Puerto Vallarta's marina terminal with a front row view of the Pacific Ocean. Some of the main attractions at the Galerias Vallarta shopping center include: the infamous department store Liverpool, Game Planet, Liverpool Restaurant (International), Reina Diaz Collection boutique, MMCinemas and Casino Multi Emotion. Liverpool is a must visit because it house the newest and trendiest women, men and children fashions. No matter if you are looking for beachwear, clothing, shoes, accessories, electronics, home furnishings, Liverpool has it all. It is one of the best department stores in all Mexico. There are many brand name stores and boutiques such as Levi, Pepe Jeans, Lacoste, Mexcode, and many others. The mall has fast food restaurants like Burger King and McDonalds as well as dine-in restaurants like Chili's, Sirloin Stockade Buffet, Kensao Japanese Restaurant, Ponte Almeja Seafood Restaurant, and many other eateries.The mall has dedicated for the most part the whole first floor to many artists. From photography to sculpture to paint, you will find some of the most breath-snatching art exhibits in the country. On this floor popular and upcoming international, national, and local artists display their art work.

Puerto Vallarta - Heaven On Earth For Everyone

Stunning beaches, beautiful waterfalls, and terrific people have made Puerto Vallarta one of the best travel destinations in the world. This coastal retreat has a warm climate year round and plenty of activities for adults and kids, making a perfect spot to have your next family vacation.

Located along the Pacific Ocean, getting here is easy. The city has a large airport that has flights from many of the biggest cities in the States. Driving is also a good option for those looking for a relaxing road trip and a drive down the beautiful coast line of Mexico. Horseback riding along the beach is a romantic way to say 'I Love You' to your sweetheart and surfing, para-sailing, and kite surfing are available for those wanting a little more blood pumping excitement.

Puerto Vallarta also has some of the best food, shopping, and walking trails along the coast of Mexico and your sure to find that special souvenir to remind you of the great time you had while visiting. If Mexican style seafood is your pleasure, several of the hotels and local restaurants offer modern, but home style cuisine that will please your taste buds and awaken your senses.

Looking for some culture? This area has some of the best wine, art, and theater productions around. Wine tasting and art shows are prevalent in October-May and finding a show is as easy as visiting the concierge at the hotel your staying or just asking some of the locals.

Go Ziplining in Puerto Vallarta

Puerto Vallarta now has the longest and fasted zipline in Mexico. Mexico's premier adventure company, Vallarta Adventures has introduced Extreme Adventure. Ziplining could be lots of fun. If you are one to daring somebody raring for minutes of thrill as the wind and surrounding beautiful sceneries rush past you ... then try Extreme Adventure's zipline. The zipline adventure starts right outside of Vallarta. Zipping through the treetop canopy over 4,000 feet in length and up to 60 mph! But do not worry it is completely safe. With experts guiding the entire experience and excellent secured equipment all you have to worry about is having a great time.

Puerto Vallarta is a cool place to visit or live. There are many things to do in addition to just soaking up the natural ambiance of a beautiful and culture driven city. Puerto Vallarta also known as PV is located on the Pacific Coast of Mexico in the State of Jalisco. PV enjoys awesome weather on average 27 degrees Celsius (80 degrees Fahrenheit) all year round! It was voted the friendliest city in the world, best Mexican Vacation Destination, as well as the best place to retire globally. PV is known for it's beautiful beaches, awesome weather, breathtaking attractions and year around festivities.

The best time to visit Puerto Vallarta thinking of the best weather would be between April and June. During this time the weather is very pleasant meaning minimum rain and roughly 85 - 90 degree Fahrenheit temperature. The cheapest season is during the rainy season in Puerto Vallarta which is during the months of July until September. Precipitation is about 7.39 to 14.57 inches. October through December is mainly when tourist season begins to perk up and discounts are rare.

The best way to get around in Puerto Vallarta is by bus. Of course the ride is super cheap (.50 USD one way) but besides that, there are many stops along the route. Puerto Vallarta buses service the Hotel Zone, PV downtown area and Marina Vallarta. If you are interested in Puerta Vallarta only and not traveling to places outside, then focus catching only the green buses which are the local bus transportation.
